Title: Grixis Commander
Post by: Balefire Hellkite on February 10, 2015, 08:16:52 PM
I'm making a Grixis colored Commander deck ({R}{U}{B}). It's a control deck, but I'm not sure which is better: board presence or Delverish. So my questions are
1) which play style is better?
2) which commander should I use; {Jeleva, Nephalias Scourge}, {Nekuzar, the Mind Razer}, or the always popular {Thraximundar}?

Nekusar is wheel effects. He is NOT a control deck due to the fact he gives the opponents more options. Thraxi is a control deck through and through. He does a wonderful job of edicting when he attacks. Not to mention he doesn't even need to hit the board to win. Jeleva seems meh.

I'd honestly go with {Crosis the Purger}. He's really good

Go with {Nicol Bolas}
Once he deals any damage, good luck having your opponents come back...

I've got a thrax deck and let me tell you  {Rooftop Storm} Is the .poo. lol

Overall the deck is very fun and Grindy. You can abuse fun things that let you have sac outlets and enchantments like  {Grave Pact} Or  {Dictate of Erebos}  Overall a fun deck to play solo or multi player
