If you spent 9 months in Malaysia on a business project, would you smoke ganja knowing that possession of marijuana is punishable by death in that country?
If you spent 9 months in Saudi Arabia on a business project, would you be openly gay in public knowing that being a homosexual is punishable by death in that country?
Well, I really can't answer this because I'm not gay, and therefore don't know what I would say. Maybe my sexuality is that important to me. But the pot one is just dumb. Just don't smoke pot.
Since I'm American, and the embassy would freak the hell out for givin me the death penalty for such small issues, yes I would still do it. Fear of death doesn't stop us all Piotr.
I assume this in response to the murder ban with bravado, and I would like to point out keeping a secret and smoking ganja are very different from killing

... you are more likely to be put to prison and die for smoking ganja than any other nation in the world. And for that you don't need to leave your federal country at all.

No kidding? However both are performed by human beings who are subject to the same psychological reactions. 2 in 2 + 3 does not suddenly behave differently when in 2 + 5, it still adds 2.

Without trying to start a big fight again, I'd point out that this is a claim not backed up by any links or evidence. I have no reason to disbelieve it but considering something sort of similar started this I thought I'd mention it...

Good observation, Falc0n ;)
I believe data exists showing that USA has by far the most people incarcerated per capita, and most of the people sitting in prisons are related to so called War on Drugs?

Oh I agree wholeheartedly on that point lol. I have no need to see the world. We have most environments here, I can see it all here for the most part.

So you have two statements, neither of which prove, and I'll quote, "you are more likely to be put to prison and die for smoking ganja"?
I'm sure you can find scientific evidence of life convictions solely for marijuana use to prove your statement true.

We're turning it around. Here in Colorado we legalized marijuana about a year ago.

Who wouldn't 😜
In response to homosexuality invoking capital punishment, there is no point in telling people you are gay when visiting that kind of place. You probably aren't going to meet another gay person and have a relationship with that person. You could also argue that maybe you are in a relationship at that point, and seeing as it is a business trip, also assume your partner isn't coming with you. You can just talk on the phone while there behind closed doors, it's stupid to risk dying over your sexuality.
