Love the idea of a Shu Yun deck. I think he will find a great home in edh. I would cut {suffocating blast} since you need a target creature to cast it. I would also look for more ramp than just signets. {gilded lotus} and anything else like that seems really great.

A commander's color identity is it's color plus the colors of any mana symbols in it's rules text. Official rules, not house rules. :P
