{merciless executioner}
hey just curious, can he count as his own target of his own ability? If so I have a thought.
Would this card be worth maining as a say sorcery that causes someone to sac a creature, since he can technically be the creature source himself it's as if your just casting a sorcery spell.
Three mana to make a player sac creature isn't half bad in standard ? Can I get some input?
Yes, you can sac him to his ability, and yes he seems good in standard, especially in a Whip deck. I think his best application is using him to sacrifice mana dorks that are dead in the late game.
If Blue White Heroic is still a thing this card is a great answer

Edh just got a little bit sadder with this cards release. Everybody runs d-bag marauder. Now it has a functional Copy. not cool wizards...
Slum reaper, you dnot count
Not everyone runs him, but the decks that do will probably love the second copy.

I don't see why it's sadder... Do you just not run black? I can have two copies of {Fleshbag Marauder} now. I still think that Flesh is better because it's a Zombie, but I'm happy.
Cool thanks, maybe I'll side it
For a monoblack Aggro discard deck (one I'm brewing) a sac creature is great, sac blood soaked and kill their Carytid or courser :)
Yes sireee
also should see some sideboard play if {silumgar, the drifting death} sees a lot of play.
