I am going to work on a list but I think the new {soulflayer} will work great with dredge from {golgari grave troll} and the like. It could make {vengevine} a thing again. Maybe make it junk for {baneslayer angel} since it is a good soulflayer target for dredge and is still castable in modern. Of course add some fat nasties like {griselbrand} and {unburial rites}. The {life from the loam} possibly as well....
Could almost make it a maverick, reanimator, dredgevine hybrid but maybe that is asking too much. Any ideas before I start {brainstorm}ing?
I have a deck list that I'm going to be revamping and posting here tonight. It's slightly inspired by a draft deck I played and one of your decks that uses {Life from the Loam} and retrace cards to be super annoying. :P I'll let you know when it's up.
Chromanticore as fuel for soulflayer?
I tried him in my retracimator deck but I wasn't really impressed. If you're going to use him build around him more than I did.
