Title: Uncommon sheet
Post by: particle on January 10, 2015, 09:04:07 PM
so a friend of mine went to gp omaha and won a door prize. However its striking me as really weird. Its an uncut foil uncommon sheet of khans of tarkir. The weird part is, that the last three rows are basically all {heart piercer bows}. Im gonna try to upload a picture but im not sure if i have the skills.  I mean i would assume that the tournament organizers of gp omaha wouldnt give out a fake uncut sheet but it just seems so weird. Why would the bow be so much more prevalent than other uncommons? I thought u1 and u2 uncommons were done with. Any thoughts?

I have no idea why there is so many, but I can confirm b/c at GPLA I saw KTK sheets and there were excessive amounts of bows on it.. struck me as unusual.

I have been told that because of the number of uncommons, every sheet is printed that way, and then the extra bows are destroyed. Seems like a waste of ink but i guess hasbro can afford it.

Maybe it has to do with the printing of that guy in Fate Reforged that fetches the bow.
