Post by: Jcollinzz on January 07, 2015, 08:16:49 AM

Yes, this was printed in Khans of Tarkir along with {Opulent Palace}, {Nomad Outpost}, {Sandsteppe Citadel} and {Frontier Bivouac}.

Besides the normal 4-of restriction, no.

Awesome, I figured the usual 4 cause it's a non basic land but that's legit awesome.

For people who don't have the $ for fetches then tri-color and bi-color+life gain lands tend to be ok, while your not at tournament speed your a life up instead of a life down ;)

Truthfully, even if you run fetches, you probably also need some of the try lands, and either scry lands or refuge lands based on your build.

Ya, trying to run a control deck but I can't figure out how to get the cards I need as fast as I need them...  Now that I can't use {spinx's Revalation } it makes it a lot slower.  Not to mention that I can't use {planar cleansing} or {supreme verdict}. Down to one field wipe {end hostilities} right now

Get them, they're cheap and are as good as the hype.

Where I'm using {cranial archive} I had to take treasure cruise out

But cranial archive lets me cycle my stuff if I need to

Tc does the same thing, archive does fill your library back up but that doesn't get you deeper in your deck, it resets it. Just my opinion.

Well its not really resetting your deck. Unless you play a ton of fetches, or your playing against land destruction, you graveyard will be mostly nonland spells. so shuffling it in should increase the chance of you drawing gas. certainly not as much card advantage as {treasure cruise}, but still could be useful in a control deck to shuffle all their counterspells back in.

It's mostly for counters.  {mineswipe} gets more powerful with more mana, so recycling it and keranos if he gets tanked is a big plus

{end hostilities} is better plus I don't technically run any creatures

It's all good man, run it to your play style. It's the beauty of magic, we're both right.

I have standard and it's not difficult.  It's really simple actually

Well, I would be in for trying it, but I have literally zero standard decks. I'll throw one together tonight and we'll try to put together a game tomorrow.
