Title: Ordeal with it!
Post by: Oldschoolmtgnoob on January 05, 2015, 08:29:41 PM
oppenent has a creature with, say, {ordeal of Helios}, and 2 +1 counters on it. I use {act of treason} and attack. Do I get to sac the aura and gain 10 life? I feel like I control the creature, not the enchantment, and I've been cheating...

Yea you dont control the aura so you wont get the benefit.

I've actually put an {Ordeal of Heliod} on an opponent's creature in limited with 2 counters on it. I gained 10 life... Then took 5 damage. Still worth it.

Now that's an interesting strategy, I have to keep that in mind
