One of the people on my team plays almost this exact list. How do you feel about wingmate roc? He's been thinking of moving it up to two. Also, how do you feel about murderous cut? We dropped the seekers and don't have a cut in there for 4 downfalls.

Tbh I'm thinking of no rocs and instead put in Stormy.

Seekers are more important G1. I usually side them out but Seekers can be so huge early game.

What do you think of {mardu charm} in this type of deck? We've been trying out new changes seeing as this deck, for us at least, hasn't been performing too well, and I think adding charm would be good

It's very very meh. You have enough removal so it's first ability is meh.

You have enough tokens so meh

A duress at instant is good though

I cut the Jets bc I want G1 to be an aggro curve and stoke is very very good. Coursers life gain can be a bitch so it's good to have an early answer plus 4 to the face for basically free (outburst) is amazing

For sure but after T3 Jets are useless. Stokes can basically kill an Elspeth which is a big problem. As well as kill Mantis Butcher Savage. And the avg. casting cost I've had for it is about 2-3 so it's almost the same cost as Jet

Would 1 swamp being replaced by 1 {urborg, tomb of yawgmoth} be good? Late game not taking dmg from fetches could be relevant.

I've been playing this deck for a little while and the urborg is pretty solid I play 1 swamp and 5 mountains and 1 urborg and haven't had any problems with the fetch or fixing. And the mountains have been enough for the chains soo... Also I been playin 3 mardu charms and have loved them I just like the choices I guess.
Nothing like first strike tokens for the block then next turn butcher sac!!!

We're Playing in a ptq tomorrow, this is the list we decided on

4 {nomad outpost}
3 {bloodstained mire}
3 {temple of malice}
3 {temple of triumph}
2 {battlefield forge}
1 {caves of koilos}
1 {temple of silence}
6 mountain
1 swamp

24 land

4 {butcher of the horde}
4 {goblin rabblemaster}
3 {seeker of the way}
1 {Stormbreath dragon}

12 creatures

4 {hero's downfall}
3 {sarkhan the dragon speaker}
2 {stoke the flames}
2 {mardu charm}
2 {chained to the rocks}
4 {hordeling outburst}
4 {crackling doom}
3 {lightning strike}

24 other spells

3 {anger of the gods}
2 {utter end}
3 {end hostilities}
3 {hushing griff}
3 {Stormbreath dragon}
2 {sorin solemn visitor}

15 sideboard

We went with Stormbreath just because of it's power against the mirror and the jeskai decks. We decided to add mardu charm because the soldiers are good for blocking rabble and they're sac fodder for butcher later, and it takes out some major threats. The instant speed duress is great. No Elspeth because we were expecting a lot of jeskai, as that's what we play against predominately. Everything else is normal. Our sideboard is really geared against jeskai

I like it BUT if I had 1 suggestion it'd be -2 MB Downfall and +2 Sorin MB

Sorin is very good in almost every scenario he does what you want when you want him too. Mass Lifelink alone can win games!!

I agree sorin is almost a staple in this deck
