Title: Flashback and Alternate Costs

If I were to cast a {pyrokinesis}, then a {past in flames}, could I discard a red card for it's flashback? I think it's no, since the flashback technically has to be the mana cost, but just wondering.

Trust your instincts. It's says mana cost, so not alternate costs allowed.
