This is my modern infect list that I've been tweaking for a while and would love some feedback! I need to make a sideboard as well, and my meta is pretty small and looks like this:
Pod
RG tron (no problems here no need to board anything in)
UR Delver
Zoo
Jeskai delver
Affinity
Mono blue ninja bear delver (weird deck)
Storm (Decent match up)
Control (awful matchup)
Jeskai ascendancy
Mono U tron (Good matchup here, no board needed)
Scapeshift
{natures claim} is a great one for affinity and sometimes pod, and tron {relic of Progenitus} is good. {pitching needle}... {viridian corrupter vs tron/affinity.
{dispel} vs combo/ control. When side boarding you do want to cut your "combo" pieces. You cut cards like dismember, most of the time you only sideboard 2-3 cards anyway with this deck per matchup.
Also mainboard tips:
What's wrong with your control matchup and colors are they running? You should be able to use {Apostle's Blessing} and {Vines of the Vastwood} to power through removal. If it is a problem though, try {Treasure Cruise} in the sideboard to give you a little more reach. Fetches could also greatly increase your deck's power, {Misty Rainforest} if you can afford it, but {Wooded Foothills} or {Windswept Heath} if you can't. If Ninja Bear Delver is a problem, {Dispel} is great, and {Gut Shot} kills {Phantasmal Bear}, {Snapcaster Mage}, and {Delver of Secrets} (just shoot before the thing flips, and in response to the "look at top card" trigger, because you can't response once the card is revealed), not to mention keeping them off of attackers stops Ninja. {Gut Shot} will also be useful for killing {Young Pyromancer}, and could come in handy against Jeskai Ascendency if they run the {Birds of Paradise} build (shoot in response to Ascendency trigger).

It's UWR control and the problem is that my things get pathed and my spells get mana leaked.

That's odd, a UWR deck shouldn't be fast enough to thwart you, at least not game 1. {Spellskite}, {Dispel}, and {Spell Pierce} could all help you, not to mention help against combo decks. {Wild Defiance} might also be something to look into.
Mindbreak trap is great against storm
