Title: Not sure if this is a combo per se, but trolling opponent with Splinter
Post by: Brawler_1337 on December 09, 2014, 06:27:03 PM
Step 1: Turn 2 or 3, cast {Liquimetal Coating}.

Step 2: Turn 4, activate Liquimetal Coating targeting one of your opponent's basics.

Step 3: Now cast {Splinter} targeting that basic. Exile it and rip out all of your opponent's basics from their deck.

Step 4: ???

Step 5: PROFIT!!!

With a small amount of mana ramp {bird of paradise} this can happen turn 3. I made a whole deck around this. Real frustrating to deal with. {ancient grudge} is your friend too for spot removal or the remaining lands you didn't get to exile

I'd say its a combo. It will get you hated bad if you actually pull it off turn 4.

I don't know. Some decks have all the lands they need by turn 4. You may just be increasing the likelihood of them drawing gas by doing this.

{Myr Landscaper} for another liquid metal coating. Throw in a {sowing salt} and you have a deck.

I am a regular on reddit, yes. It helps that my username is usually available on all sites I go to.
