So I know about PDH (Pauper Dragon Highlander), but it seems really bland. You choose an uncommon as the commander and the rest of the deck is uncommons. There are so many more possibilities and strategies when you open it up to commons and uncommons. So I wanted to get some feedback: what should be banned and can you think of any really cool deck ideas?

In terms of banning the only thing that comes to my mind is {sigil captain}. THE VALUE
Off the top of my head, {Vampire Nighthawk} is probably the best card in this format, or definitely {Psychatog}. {Bloodbraid Elf} is probably broken too.
{Skullclamp}, {Demonic Tutor}, {Strip Mine}, {Mana Drain}. May have to ban {Thopter Foundry} because that card would be pretty damn good at blowing everyone out, due to the relative lack of sweeper spells at common and uncommon.
{Tinker} can actually be legal! It's not like you can find {Blightsteel Colossus} turn 1. {Eternal Witness} would be a sick commander.
As for a cool deck idea...just build a {Psychatog} deck, because it's awesome. Or play Storm {Tendrils of Agony}
