I'm not super well versed in Magic storyline, but here's where my mind has gone,
If Bolas killed all the Elder Dragons, and they're basically responsible for what Magic is now, and Ugin is going to be time travel saved, perhaps this isn't going to be return to Zendikar.
Maybe, just maybe, Sorin and Sarkhan are going to change everything. Everything. Magic Origins could be a reboot to Magic itself. With the new two block sets, and the way the story is going. It's possible.
Would be interesting.

Wasnt this a rumor though, that he killed the dragons? Because i don't believe he did
Before the Thran, there was a great war between the elder dragons, on Dominaria, and Bolas' family was on the winning side. The losers were stripped of their limbs and became elder wurms, beginning the race of wurms. MTG Salvation can fill in the gaps http://mtgsalvation.gamepedia.com/Dominaria

The other shard elder dragons from legends are still alive somewhere (Bolas's brothers and cousin Vivaectus) more than likely, their whereabouts are unknown, the others have been killed though.
{Chromium} lives. That's all that matters. Long live Esper. 😜
