I am getting so pissed with MTGO!
I do great in paper magic drafts. I go on here, I can't pull anything decent to save my life, the mana screw is just insane, and my opponents always seem to be on the nuts draw.
Frustrating and seems like a waste of money. In case you can't tell my frustration level is very high right now. 0-1 right now after double mana screw and faced my opponents {high sentinel or assface} both matches.
Lost again 0-2 in 12 minutes second round.....
Mull down to 5 first hand and still get mana screw
Next game mull down to 6, keep a 2 lander, and those where the only 2 lands I saw the whole game
I'm only running 18 lands in a 40 card deck....

I don't get to play paper too often and I want something new to stream :3
I am not enjoying spending money for such little pay off. I started for that same reason of not having a lot of time for paper magic anymore. I figured I could do as good on paper but idk is going on but things are going terrible for me on MTGO.
Very rarely do I not place during paper magic drafts yet on MTGO I have won a single pack only because it was a pity pack from a Swiss event lol. I am a spike when it comes to drafting so losing has not been fun. Especially when I end up building a solid deck and I just get mana screwed so damn often.
I don't think they should be selling digital packs for $4 but I guess they justify it because you can do a paper magic trade in thing or something. I think they should do away with that and make the packs like $2.
Man I sound like a whiny b!tch but I started playing MTGO for fun and I have yet to really have fun. It is substandard to an actual paper event and it is getting harder for me to sink money into something so less enjoyable.

My gf had an ex who would spend all of his money on drafts with his friends
She also mentioned the chances of completing a set playset x4 really sucks when you try to get the mythics x4
Nothing beats paper magic, you somehow don't get magically mana screwed all the time

I've had the draws on MtGO .love. me pretty hard pretty often. I basically just play MtGO to play random budget builds because I don't want to put much money into it. Paper MtG is far superior, but I like being able to play whenever I want. It's only sort of worth it.
On the flip side, you could join me in this Fowl Play sealed event! I don't know what I'm doing...

Can you trade that playset to someone else? And they collect the set or once the card is traded in its marked ?
So I went to a Saturday draft, real cards, and got first place. Surprisingly I did not get mana screwed 75% of the time like I do on MTGO.
I really think I am done with MTGO.
Haha .love. MtGO tonight. Played a draft and got four of my five plains in my opening hand with no white cards. Next game, got four swamps and no other lands. Switched to standard and played UW control with 26 lands, opened with a plains and a {Radiant Fountain}. Both games.
Sometimes the MtGO shuffler really seems like .poo.. Playing paper magic definitely has its perks. It's a shame the people I played with left...
