Not to start an argument but it is OP and it still in bannable. So what if only a few copies were in top 8. I'm sure if you look at the percentage of the tournament I almost guarentee that Delver decks were the most popular. So it's good to see it not as dominant as we thought but it's still very OP and needs to be watvhed

There are more {Siege Rhino} in the top 8 then {Treasure Cruise}. Siege Rhino emergency ban?

{Treasure Cruise} hasn't found its deck yet. I am glad that Modern players responded and actually hated out a card without needing to ban it. Still, TC will find it's deck, and it will still be good.

{Dig Through Time} is just about the only combo enabler in Modern too. It's double blue makes it a bit more prohibitive. If anything, I hope this serves as a lesson about overacting to new, powerful cards.

We want cool new cards in the game. If the only way we deal with new cards is by trying to ban them it helps no one. At one time {Serra Angel} was the most powerful creature. Things need time to shake out.

Perhaps {Treasure Cruise} will still be slapped with a ban, but if anything we've seen it is not unbeatable.

Also, i think the overwhelming UR Delver is because its a cheap deck that is really powerful. The influx of new players in Modern who just got their shocks, just got their fetches, well...they can cast {Treasure Cruise} with a deck full of Commons and Uncommons. {Young Pyromancer}s, {Gitaxian Probe}s and the like.

TC is undoubtedly powerful, but Pod is just a better deck and it's more expensive, lots more.

I'm glad people are realizing that {Dig Through Time} is an amazing card, I think it is better than TC (although, TC is probably better suited for aggro).

You don't need {Scalding Tarn} to fetch {Steam Vents} in modern, {Flooded Strand} and {Bloodstained Mire} for fine. Coupled with {Treasure Cruise} excitement and the low cost of the deck, new player influx due to fetch reprints and you've got a recipe for a UR Delver meta game overrun.

Hype will die down, TC will still be a good card. It being number 1 on MODO, and MODO being the place where most professionals, aspiring professionals and regular Magic players go to test...well it stands to reason. Listen, I understand TC is bad for Modern. Modern doesn't have anything like it, but now hardly seems to time to ban it because it's not even in the deck it may inevitably be broken in.

Interesting case for unbanning {Jace, the Mind Sculptor} considering Control isn't a real thing in Modern right now. I would like to see it unbanned into MM2 as the marquee card.

Pod isn't actually all that expensive once you get the shocks and fetches. Delver has {Scalding Tarn} which A) hasn't been reprinted and B) is the most expensive fetch now. I don't think it's over-reacting, I think TC is an incredibly powerful card and that is reflected in the fact that it is the number one card in MODO, people are warping their sideboarding and deck choices around beating it, and it was still the most overwhelming deck to make Day 2. I wish we had reliable numbers about the percentage of the starting field that ran Delver, but I think that, based on how it serves a similar purpose to Ancestral Visions, TC will be banhammered.

So take the most expensive deck get rid of the expensive cards and then take delver and add the most expensive cards sure logic

Is there any word on {Jeskia Ascendancy} ban? I've heard that {Glittering Wish} is much more likely to bite it. But with those results I dare say both will stay safe for now?
