Let's Experiment 2.0 60 cards, 0 sideboard 20 {Swamp} 2 {Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx} 22 lands 4 {Indulgent Tormentor} 4 {Herald of Torment} 4 {Brain Maggot} 4 {Gray Merchant of Asphodel} 4 {Bloodsoaked Champion} 20 creatures 4 {Hero's Downfall} 4 {Murderous Cut} 2 {Liliana Vess} 2 {Empty the Pits} 4 {Sign in Blood} 2 {Stain the Mind} 18 other spells Sideboard Notes: Do you guys think that a deck like thus could hold in the standard environment today?

I'd say -2 Stain, that's SB material at best, -1 Empty, that's such a late game card, and -1 Liliana Vess, she's a bit slow, for +4 Thoughtseize

Looks better but {Master of the Feasts} is a sweet card early. 3 drop opponent gets an extra card but I'm smacking you in the face for 5 each time. I don't think I would run 2 sets of 5 drop. (Demon and Merchant}. Get another double black for devotion around 3 drop and drop the demon. On average my deck goes 4-1 just about every FNM.

Trying to stay away from cards that expensive.
