Title: Faithless Looting
Post by: Dudecore2012 on April 14, 2012, 06:02:47 PM
{faithless looting} - a friend says you draw 2, then you can use the two cards, and have nothing to discard...is that how it works?

I said he had to draw 2 and discard 2. If its the only 2 cards he has they have to be discarded per the card text, before he can even use any of the cards.

Who is correct?

When a spell starts resolving, you have to do every thing as written before you can do anything else. No casting spells halfway through a spell.

^^ this

Otherwise it would have something like
Draw 2 cards.
Discard 2 cards at end of your turn.
