this is why you need {necropotence} so you only draw cards when you feel like it.

It does say you *may* cast the spells, so he isn't decked guys.

and he only looks at the top 4 cards of his library

And then you cast again. But I missed the *may* that way you can stop at 10 or so.

and all the cards he doesnt cast (ie lands) go right back to the bottom of the library. He could do the whole deck, get all rats out and have about 15 lands as his library. not the best idea due to board wipes but still not decked out

So true. I just so wanted to respond to this one with a win, because of a frustrating 4-0 vs a not-so-casual pack rat deck...
I guess I'll make one an enchantment creature and {deicide} the rat.
EDIT: and add God as type for it somewhere along the way too. :p shame on me for incorrectly remembering that one.

Exactly, {Thrumming Stone} is basically "I summon as many rats as I need to kill you, do you have a board wipe? Okay what about next turn?"

Just spotted {relentless rats} in the rat deck below, would even make this Legacy- legal. Lol

I thought you could only have 4 of any card unless otherwise stated?... Or am I just crazy?...
