Actually, all the top finishing lists are running around 14 lands. That's still about 1 in 4 cards, and you are running 12 1 or no mana cantrips, so it works out quite well.

Well there are only two cards in the deck that need more than one mana

Thinking it could be sick to attack with something flash in snappy and cast again.

The two big problems I have it with it:
A) There isn't anything I would want to take out for it
B) It's painful, and the decks takes a lot of damage as it is between fetches, shocks, GProbes...
It might be worth testing though, possibly take out the {Pillar of Flame}s for it.

Lava spike seems really, really bad. As does 4 pillar. Needs counterspells like {mana leak} and {remand}

It does three damage without adding to the board, fills the graveyard for {Treasure Cruise} and the high number of burn spells allows you to end the game extremely quickly. This list has top 8'ed a high level event, so I am going to go with their expertise.
But {Remand} tho

You are kind of correct though, even burn is running {Treasure Cruise} right now.
