Title: Foil Flooded Strand (Sell or Wait)
Post by: SpecialK on November 01, 2014, 03:08:31 AM
I traded some fetches for a foil flooded strand. I can sell it for $50 right now but should I wait and sit on the card and watch the price go up? Or will that take forever? Get back to me please and thanks.

I will buy it from you.  Or trade some good stuff to you.

I opened one at the prerelease that I have decked and will sit on. It's a beautiful card and will retain its value better than the non foils. It really depends if you want cash now and how long you're willing to hang on to it

Never sell foils. They're pretty much always certain to go up in value, and retain that value through reprints. The bottom still has a ways to go. Remember Holiday Gift Boxes are coming out soon, Christmas gifts and more and more tournaments. The foils might settle around $40 then increase again steadily afterwards.

Example: every card printed in foil, then reprinted in a supplemental set/foil promo.
