{Trash for Treasure}!! This seems REALLY good! Am I missing something here as to why this doesn't see play?

I play it in my {Kurkesh, Onakke Ancient} deck where it can be a one-time replacement for {Goblin Welder}.  Looking forward to DARETTI for the same purpose.

which is not necessarily horrible. i mean trading a {darksteel relic} for a {sword of feast and famine} or {batterskull} seems good. i think the two problems with it are its sorcery speed, so you cant instand speed get stuff before it gets shuffled in. also the fact that its an additional cost to sac the artifact means that if its countered your pretty sol.

I agree its situational but in a deck that runs  {Goblin Welder} it could be a pretty unexpected secondary condition. Especially in legacy where artifact lands and useful cheap artifacts are plenty. Even at sorcery, I feel like this could be sweet.
