Title: Gisela question
Post by: Jake, Fart Sculptor on April 14, 2012, 03:51:17 AM
{Gisela blade of goldnight}
Let's say you have a 2/2 double striker with trample. You also have Gisela in play, you attack with the double striker, they block with a 4/4. The double striker will deal four damage to the creature, since you have Gisela, it deals 8. So does 4 damage "trample over" and if so, does it then deal 8 to the opponent because of Gisela?

Your 2/2 will deal two damage during the first combat step. Because of the angel, this will get doubled to 4, killing the 4/4. Since it has trample the next two damage will be dealt to the player, becoming 4 damage.
