Title: Doubling chant question

Ok say i have a {grizzled outcast} on the battle feild and it is fliped, and i play a {doubling chant} does the grizz come from my deck fliped or on its face up side?

Well I'm not 100% but {doubling chant} says with the same name and all the flip cards I have seen have different names on each side. So in short I would say yes it comes flipped or whatever side it's on. BJ will show up shortly if I am wrong.

If you have any transformed cards, {Doubling Chant} won't find them in your library. Double Faced Cards (DFCs) only have the characteristics of their sun side at all times except when they are in play and transformed.

i would say no. {Scorned Villager} for example. The flip subsitute cards in your deck only have the sun side. So if you cast {Doubling Chant} on a {Moonscarred Werewolf} you will look through your deck for a moonscarred which thus you do not have
