I feel like drafting is more expensive the more you do it, my decks I've made ill be happy with till rotation IMO I have many pieces that I'd rather get my play value out of than $12-$16 for a set of useful cards

Savage Knuckleblade will see a ridiculous return and will rise to the top. He just has to find his deck

How to play magic if you are on a budget.

Put big bucks into eternal formats like modern and legacy

Play teir one decks in standard that are 40-80 dollars (Tom Ross's boss sligh)

I just finished foiling my Hidgetsugu deck. The last couple of cards were 120 total.

If you're good enough, drafting pays for itself. I won 12 packs at prerelease and have managed to sustain myself off of prize packs since.

Yeah and sometimes you end up getting terrible things to open while your opponents pull the win cons and chase cards. In theory standard can pay for itself. In theory.

You have more control over drafts, blaming opens is putting things out of your control and the road to losing. Will you lose to better cards sometimes? Absolutely, but no one card is going to win a draft, and making the correct decisions will always give the chance to succeed.

Tell that to {Wingmate Roc}
