So I had a proud 'circle of life'/'those were the good old days' moment yesterday when I found out my son got accepted into the same kindergarten that I went to 25 years ago. How cool is that?!
On a side note, I can't believe that kids have to apply and get 'accepted' in to KINDERGARTEN! What is the world coming to?
Congrats man! The application is just a test to see if they are ready for kindergarten; I had to take one. If you don't pass they just say something along the lines of "teach your kid this, or put them back in preschool." It's mainly just a social test with a little bit of cognitive reasoning, nothing too serious because pretty much every kid passes unless there is a serious problem.
First time I've ever heard about kids applying to kindergarten. My kids didn't have to apply...
