Title: Expected reprints- Fate Reforged
Post by: Destore117 on October 16, 2014, 07:31:29 PM
What are some cards you think will be reprinted over the next set?
{Terminate}
Fits with Mardu I think.

Please, anything but {Cancel}.

Let me stress that khans of tarkir is a wedge SET and not a wedge BLOCK. Maro has mentioned many a time that FR and Louie will not be focusing on the wedge colored clan theme

Good point. But I still think it would be fitting either with flavor of a dragon's rage ending some poor sap (if we revive dragons.) Or Sarkhan just flat out ending someone. Only thing I see against it, is that there aren't too many regeneration cards that see play in standard. (At least to my knowledge.)
But this was just what I thought
I was curious what iMTG thinks is likely to be reprinted.

Breaking news. Cancel reaches it's 47th reprint in a row XD

They didn't reprint doom blade or any other 2 mana removal in M15 or Khans. That was done deliberately. So I don't think terminate will be making a return anytime soon.

I disagree.  This spells forces you in 2 colors so it is much different than comparing to another 2 CMC like doomblade

Although they have the charms already so not sure what they'd do with 2 cmc of different manas across the board.
Especially since the set is. Well. Wedges.

I'd be more excited if it didn't suck.

I see a reprint of thinks like {dragonspeaker outcast}
I don't see that just because of dragons.  Remember the outcast guy was part of a cycle of cards like {scute mob} and that cycle was created because Zendikar was a "lands matter" set

I could, however, see {dragonspeaker shaman}

Who's to say this next set won't be a "lands matter" set?

Also, I second the above post. Those two cards should definitely make a return.

Everyone stock up on {Crucible of Fire}!

I'm not saying it won't be a lands matter set.  I am just putting the outcast into the proper context :P

I would like to see {go for the throat} reprinted
I could see it being "colorless" creature to kill off morph things or something like that

Also, I want {Castigate} reprinted (has no reason to be whatsoever just something I'd like.)
