I haven't seen anyone with more than 100 karma. Does it max out at 100 or something?
No, but there is a rule that it will only show up to 100, so if you want to see the persons real karma you have to look on his private page
The visible karma maxes out at 100 no matter how much you have. However if you go to someone's profile by click on their picture or a linked name, you'll see that some people do have a lot more that 100. {{gorzo}} and {{noblellama}}, for examples.

Yeah, a few months ago Piotr (the benevolent overseer of the app) put a max on the displayed karma. You can accumulated karma past 100, but it doesn't show under your name, for example if you go to my profile, I have 458. I don't remember the explanation exactly, but I think it had to with something along the lines of people caring too much about karma and getting upset over it.

Huh, well that's a little odd. Anyways, thanks for explaining. I thought it seemed weird the highest karma I saw was 100. Now I know.
