I have some ptq questions.
I want to know how you go about finding them?
And I saw that in December they will be adding a Preliminary Pro tour qualifier to the path to the pro tour. But how does one go about finding where they are held? And I am looking for only modern. It got a little confusing for me.
Thank you
How many games or rounds are there for ptq?
And if you qualify under one format does that mean you only qualify for that formats pro tour?

# of rounds depends on attendance. Winning a ptq will qualify you for the corresponding next pro tour. The formats do not need to match.

I'm not exactly sure
there is one 45 minutes from me... should i go? if so, how do i sign up?
You only go to Regional PTQ by winning the a Pre-PTQ. There are going to be a few hundred PPTQs, and of those winners they have to win AGAIN at the RPTQ to make it to protour. Because of that, you have to grind PPTQs to until you win.
{Liliana of the Veil} Promo is for Regional PTQ participants. That is worth driving to if you won a PPTQ.
is the one in Tulsa, Oklahoma on 11/22/14 a PPTQ? or is it before the change?

Ptqs are fun. I suggest going. You just sign up when you get there. And if you scrub out early there should be some side events to play in.
is it anything like a gp?
local-level Preliminary PTQs, which begin in December of 2014; winners of these events will move on to Regional PTQs, which will earn top players invitations and airfare to the Pro Tour starting with the July/August 2015 Pro Tour.
Yeah, December will be the beginning of having to spend more money and going through more games..

How much do they cost?
You can reg for them online if you find out who is running them. It looks like it cost $40.
Usually constructed will cost about $25, but its limited season so i believe they are $40 atm.
Are there pros in Oklahoma? And if I top 8 (because some divine being struck down my opponents), what happens? Where is the pro tour going to be? And they just pay for my flight there?
