Title: Trading Feature
Post by: Daxos on October 06, 2014, 09:43:53 PM
Hey guys...about this iMTG app...

does the Trading feature actually work?
I've put there my offer of 1 Courser of Kruphix for 1 Grindstone for example (would take Keranos, Kiora, Wurmcoil Engine or Dounling Season too) but the app seems to forget... or nothing ever happens.

Can you over there at least see the offer?
Is that how that works?
have you ever traded successfully through this feature?
Do you need GameCenter with 1,000 friends in there? 'cause mine has got only my closest friends...

I would LOVE to be able to trade safely using this app as a broker or escrow or simply coordinator...
any and all answers welcome

That part of the app is just to show you who has what. You need to inbox people to begin a trade. And yes the trading works on here but only as well as the people trading.

I'm sorry, I don't follow.
How do I see who has what?
Also what inbox are you referring to?

I've had enough to evaluate your question a bit better now. Sorry for my haste before mate!

So the Trading section from the main menu is simply to cross reference cards against each other for pricing.

You can see what everyone else has by two ways;
A) you can go to an individual user's profile (by clicking their profile pic) and click Private Page. This will take you to their list of cards they have up for trade or want.
B) you enter all the cards you want and have by adjusting the sliders at the bottom of a card's page. You then hit Update Private Page On the main menu. Then find the Potential Trades from the main menu and this will show you aaaalllll the people that have cards you want and want the cards you have. If you click a person's name In this section, you will be taken to a profiled screen of Trading from which you can message the person a list of your proposal. I personally find this the easiest way to trade as all the info is right there done for you.

Hope that helps more.
