Title: Wow...
Post by: Taysby on October 05, 2014, 09:11:48 PM
How dafuq did I end up with so much value in cards?  I priced the stuff I wasn't using (plus a jtms and karakas to sweeten the deal, i'm exchanging the old fetches for strands) and I ended up with $1800 tcg mid.  In addition to that I have my modern and legacy deck, and a ton of bulk.  When did I spend so much money on magic?...

We all ask ourselves that.

I keep too many decks built to have this problem.  My issue is then buying enough dragon shields and full art lands to keep building 😏

I have stuff built in every format except competitive vintage.

When I look at my standard collection: I have access to several decks.

Everything else is a ton of pieces of money too, i end up having to sell repacks on eBay to get rid of bulk and money items I don't use.

Buying boxes and collections add up fast.

In fact I'm actually considering selling a few EDH decks of mine (the format is now overrun with non casual play)

Then there's the stack of foils and reserved list cards and my complete collections. Plus some are foreign...
I highly suggest making complete sets if you can (or if a set is 90% complete finish it!) it will make bulk worth something.

I like the human interaction. And the fact that humans don't crash constantly.
