Mono Blue Control 75 cards, 15 sideboard 25 {Island} 25 lands 2 {Pearl Lake Ancient} 2 creatures 4 {Ætherspouts} 1 {Cranial Archive} 1 {Dig Through Time} 4 {Dissipate} 4 {Dissolve} 2 {Jace, the Living Guildpact} 3 {Jace's Ingenuity} 2 {Negate} 4 {Nullify} 1 {Perilous Vault} 3 {Taigam's Scheming} 4 {Weave Fate} 33 other spells Sideboard 4 {Gainsay} 2 {Negate} 1 {Perilous Vault} 1 {Stormtide Leviathan} 1 {Tormod's Crypt} 2 {Tromokratis} 4 {Voyage's End} 15 sideboard cards Notes: So far this deck hasn't really let me down. It can take a serious beating before wiping the field and keeping it consistently spot-free, from what I've experienced. Some of my friends even refuse to play it. ^_^ |

{swan song}?
Also, {pneumonic wall} + {fated infatuation}.
Quote from: Agrus Kos, Enforcer of Truth on October 03, 2014, 07:02:56 AMI've actually noticed that it can go both way with either wanting to Delve more, or not having any lands to Delve, which are my favorites to pitch.
Because you are main-boarding 3 {Taigam's Scheming} maybe consider more {Treasure Cruise}s or {Dig Through Time}s. Oh, and I am going to build this and test it out, do you have any advice?
Edit: I think I am going to try this, but with a light splash of red for {Keranos, God of Storms} and {Mindswipe}, plus some sideboard stuff like {Anger of the Gods}.
Quote from: E.kann1 on October 03, 2014, 11:18:05 PMBoy, that would be niiiiice. I also rolled over the Impersonator...
{clever impersonater} {of krupix}? You get to gain life for lands, and hunt for more spells...

Lol {mistcutter hydra}
Quote from: lotrwk on October 16, 2014, 04:10:46 PMIt is really better as a sideboard card, simply because multiple decks can just blank the card. There was actually a game in the Pro Tour top 8 in which Ivan Floch had multiple in his hand against an Abzan Aggro deck and just couldn't do anything.
{disdainful stroke}? Over {dissipate}?
Quote from: Agrus Kos, Enforcer of Truth on October 16, 2014, 07:17:38 PMYeah, I knew Surrak would be a problem. My initial goal was to make a pre-rotation Jeskai creatureless control. I just found the blue overwhelming, the red barely showing up, and the white non-existent when I was pooling cards for it.Quote from: lotrwk on October 16, 2014, 04:10:46 PMIt is really better as a sideboard card, simply because multiple decks can just blank the card. As for the deck as a whole, I really enjoyed playing it, but I practically just lose to {Surrak} unless I get a timely Vault. Because of this, I have switched to UB control, splashing red simply for {Keranos, God of Storms} in the SB.
Quote from: Bop on October 21, 2014, 07:35:45 PMVery true, sir!
Polymorphist's jest doesn't mess up hydras at all. It actually makes them 1 power stronger... Cuz they are 0/0s with +1 counters and become 1/1s with counters. Mistcutter is always a beating. Aetherspouts just delays the inevitable. Other than that though, it's a good idea.
