Title: Crater's claws and prowess
Post by: Tabooist on September 29, 2014, 06:57:21 PM
Just wante some clarification. If I control a creature wih prowess and cast {crater' claws}, my creature will get the bump. If he bumps to above four power, will that satisfy the ferocious condition of the claws?

Yes!

Prowess is a trigger that happens upon casting, so it will be added to the stack and resolve before {Crater's Claws} does. Claws won't check for power until its own resolution, and by that time, prowess will have resolved.

That's beautiful. Haha. Also makes that one drop counter more attractive for my jeskai build. Which I'll post sometime soon cuz I'm curious what you all think.
