Edit: thank you Spikepit for moving this!
So here's a deck list I made up for my Orzhov Vampire control I don't have all of the cards yet. But basically the plan is to have an endless supply of vampires that can keep you alive with lifelink and tear down everyone else by getting buffs and overwhelming your opponent.
The legality is Modern
Non-permanent spells 12
4{Castigate}
4{Hide//Seek}
2{Merciless Eviction}
2{Revoke Existence}
Creatures 14
2{Bloodline Keeper}
2{Vampire Nocturnus}
2{Tithe Drinker}
4{Tidehollow Sculler}
2{Vizkopa Guildmage}
1{Obzedat Ghost council}
1{Athreos God of Passage}
Enchantments and other 12
2 {Sorin Lord of Innistrad} ~OR~ {Sorin Solemn Visitor} (unsure of both)
4{Stab Wound}
2{Gift of Orzhova}
2{Eternal Thirst}
2{Elixir of Immortality}
Lands 22
4{Caves of Koilos}
4{Isolated Chapel}
7{Swamp}
7{Plains}
So in essence. The deck is about controlling what your opponent has (tidehollow, castigate, seek) meanwhile your working towards your goals of getting out lots of vampires that with Nocturnus will be 4/4's with flying or 3/3's with lifelink. And with lord of lineage they can be 6/6's and 5/5's.
Using Vizkopa Guildmage's active those 5/5's will be a big problem. You'll gain 5 and they'll lose 5 each turn.
And if things get hairy you can reset some things with merciless eviction.
Sorin lord puts out little lifelink nasties and emblem buffs your creatures. And if things go well he can snatch up a few things from your opponent.
Sorin visitor puts out fliers and gives everyone lifelink which can make Vizkopa Guildmage a big problem for your opponents. And can be used to control their field with his emblem.
Aside from that you have
Elixir for Life gain/anti-mill
Your enchantments give lifelink to your creatures and provide nice buffs for them.
Revoke existence I've seen as very useful in controlling pesky artifact decks or taking out key enchantments that may play roll in your opponent's game plan (gods on the field, the new ascendancy cards, etc.)
A few notes
I might choose {Wrath of God} over eviction due to the more affordable mana cost. However it's not as versatile in it's effect.
Won't work well against decks that use an abundance of counter spells.
May have mana issues I've yet to see.
So what do you all think? Suggestions? Pros/cons of this deck?
Thank you. All of you. For taking the time to read this. And thanks for any and all help on this deck idea.
First off, you need to decide. Vampires, or control. They are two different decks and putting them together is like shoving together affinity and pod. Also, tithe drinker needs replacement. If you want to get into modern I have a fairly reliable deck at a budget if you want it

The thing is I want it to be my own deck. Not like a copy of one of the "big winner" decks. But yeah Tith drinkers are kinda a place holder. I'd probably switch them out for more removal.
You can have your own deck that is one of the other. But right now this deck just wouldn't hold up in a competitive environment. Vampires are good at aggro but in red black it's way better. Control is more of a blue white thing and I've always seen black white as a midrangey sort of thing. Against most other decks you have little to no defense. So as of right now id go one or the other

Well as of now I'd probably lean towards the control. My main thing is I want to be able to play at an FNM and not get compleeeetely wrecked.
By the end of it all though I'll probably have to make 2 seperate decks. Also, thank you so much for the input.
My only one little problem is making 2 decks is soooo much more work But I suppose it does make a lot of sense not mixing the 2 play styles.
Are you trying to get into modern? If so, Vampire Aggro is cheap and somewhat reliable
Yeah. My main issue though is I don't have a reliable way to get cards. Other than that. I'd love to go into modern. Never really cared for standard as it changes too often and is a lot of money to shell out again and again.
But with Modern. If I make a deck I'm happy with. I can use it forever lol.
