what do u guys think about this.is I even possible??
Nope never going to happen
My opinion exactly but, "aparently" someone traded a gatechrash booster up for mox ruby. could be lies but who knows...
A guy at my lgs was trying this. He got pretty, but eventually gave up on it. He said it was too much stress and work to up-trade so hard so often, and it consumed too much time trying to hunt for trade deals when he'd rather be playing side games between rounds instead.
He got quite a bit of value from it, though. He started with a New Phyrexia pack ({Moltensteel Dragon}) and when he gave it up about 2 years later, he had a couple beta dual lands and a whole binder full of good stuff.
Well it kind of worked for him, he probly made 1000ish dollars
My friend did this and ended with a {Mox Emerald}

Buy a pack of cards. With only those cards constantly trade up until you trade for a power nine.
It's definitely possible. Depending upon the set of power you're setting yourself for is a big thing. Also depends on how lucky your pack is. Some people use 3 packs to start to help the beginning luck out. I want to try it, especially now that fetches are in the new set.
Here's a story from someone who did it: http://www.channelfireball.com/articles/traderous-instinct-pack-to-power/
Its possible, but you have to go to lots of tournaments.

I always felt like "pack to power" was a bad excuse to F people over by saying "I'm trying for pack to power so I want you to over trade with me, it's for a good cause"
Lol I agree. But also when people say "oh, but I really need it for my cube." Had a guy every draft the hot card he needed
