Is this deck a thing?

Doubt it, since Pod, twin, and maybe tron are all definitely a thing...

If its going to be a thing, I recommend {Chord of Calling} to get more {Axebane Guardian}s and {Overgrown Battlement}s and a revamp of the mana base, I'd suggest:
4x {Misty Rainforest}
3x {Breeding Pool}
3x {Flooded Grove}
4x {Hinterland Harbor}
4x Forest
2x Island
