Title: What To Run?
Post by: LadyGrixis on September 26, 2014, 12:00:07 PM
With all of the new cards and swirling, brewing ideas coming out, I have NO solid idea as to what I would like to play in this Standard rotation.

What are some of your ideas/picks? What are some of your predictions about which decks will be top tier?

Mono black is the way to goooooo! Been testing different things with it, like adding withe, red, sometimes both, adding green, and I believe that just mono black is the best way to go. Much mor consistent, way better mana. You need lands that enter untapped!

I've been leaning towards Black/White tokens with Sorin, because I LOVE Sorin. But I haven't tested it.

Black/White tribal Warriors also looks interesting.

Star city had some interesting deck techs for the new standard.

They mentioned courser decks being popular still.

Dan sligh, it's like Tom Ross's (Tom the Boss Ross's) red deck win deck that we win an invitational with called Boss sligh. Except I made a post rotation version of it :P it's pretty much just a RDW but it's fun and cheap

Post Rotation Standard is usually just the previous decks with pluggins. It'll shake out eventually. Strategies from Theros like Xx Devotion will still be a thing. When in doubt, use a Standard shell and play MadLibs

What event was this? The SCG open in Nee Jersey was won by a RWU (jeskai??) deck. No green there.
