Title: Keranos, God of Storms and Thassa, God of the Sea
Post by: LinzInTheBarn on September 26, 2014, 12:36:26 AM
Hi! I am running a red/blue annoy and destroy that I adore, but have a question about these two. When {Keranos, God of Storms} and {Thassa, God of the Sea} are out together, which state based ability has priority? I have been doing Thassa's scry first, then Keranos' reveal first card drawn, but is this wrong? Thanks for any help.

That is right! Your upkeep comes before your drawstep.

This stuff happens during the "beginning phase" which has 3 parts. Untap, upkeep, and draw step, In that order.

Am I right in saying that you can't have two legendary creatures in play at once?

That only applies to legends with the same name. You can't have 2 thassas or 2 keranos at once. But you CAN have 1 thassa and 1 keranos
