Take out the Master of the Feasts it completely messes with your goal. You want the opponent to never have 1 card in hand and now all of a sudden with Master they draw 2 ... Not good IMO sure quick clock but not worth it at all!!!

Also if you can get then take out up to 8 swamps and and {Bloodstained Mire} and {Polluted Deltas} in standard the decks that benefit the most from fetches will be monocloroed ones bc filtering your deck is SO important. :P

Totally had this convo on the other waste not post lol but I get where you're coming from. And the fetch lands sound great actually so that may happen. Lol

Fetches are wonderful in standard for deck thinning; just seem like $60-$80 off the bat rigt now :(

Lol ya :P Playtest it and if he's good I'm wrong but to me I feel like he's just too much disadvantage :P but definitely add the fetches :P

The actual percentages to "thinning" aren't really necessary on standard. The true benefit is in modern/legacy. Although it helps, the numbers may not be worth the extra $140 it would cost if you bought all 8 right now.

Fetches aren't a bad investment though. But it will help a lot sure in Legacy it gets you out of Ponder/Brainstorm lock but in Standard you go from 20 lands to 15-16 depending on how many fetches you draw it helps out a lot

actually master is a great enabler of this deck. you want the opponent to draw a card on your upkeep to enable your discard spells that you can only play on your turn. their hand is gonna dry up pretty quick and then you'll be holding a bunch of dead discard spells in your hand and won't be able to trigger waste not.

personally i don't like tormented thoughts in this deck i think its garbage. i don't like any of the creatures except master, either.

i think you should,

-sb all creatures (and choose better ones)
-bring in a ton of removal and make it a real control deck, MONO B!
-bring in empty the pits
-game 2 when your opponent sb out all their removal shuffle in your sb and have fun!

i'll be playing this deck gameday will let you know the results and will post my list if i win.
