It's basically an elvish mystic that you can cast for free (if you haven't already played a land that turn).

well, it can be sacrificed to {natural order} which is a strict upgrade on a basic forest. plus its an uncounterable creature. so it cant be that bad.

You can [[natural order]] it, you can gsz it , fetch it in response to your opponent min using Liliana of the veil in boggles, etc.
