I know this might get heated but what are your opinions on them?

Pretty sure everyone can agree that forced child labor is a bad thing.

True but about adult sweatshops. The ones in Bangladesh/other impoverished countries. Are they beneficial in that that supply jobs or are they evil bc of the conditions?

Comparatively better employment is not an excuse for work conditions that are still inhumane.

To me giving a foreign work force a sweatshop so they have a job is like giving some candy to one of my first graders who forgot their lunch. Take the extra time and the extra dime to feed her a sandwich. It pays off when, rather than being needy and disruptive, she is contributing to my class later in the day. Likewise, if you work to improve a country, rather than just cutting the best profit, in a generation or two that same populous is able to contribute to your cause in a much more significant way.
