I'm pretty upset about this card as a control/spirit/UW player. Can somebody hold me and tell me everything will be alright?
Is {Mental Misstep} even worth it? Paying 2 life and a card instead of just 4 life.
Should I just take the four and move on with my life?

Early game I take the 4
Against RDW taking 4 damage could be bad early or late game. It looks like RDW can make a push for best deck in the meta. With {thunderous wrath} as well.
I want that card! :D It's like a {browbeat} in creature form, either way is good for me!

Unless you go first mental misstep is a bad choice, countering it is prolly the best way to deal with it besides maybe first strike no matter what.. 4 damage is so high though..
At least it doesnt have haste

Yes. It enters the field and, if they take the damage, it dies. Works great with things like {Warstorm Surge} and similar.
I was thinking something like a brimstone volley combo to maximumize damage

1 card doesn't make RDW awesome again. This shouldn't even be a question, early game it's really good...both decisions suck, but late game u let the creature get cast. Bounce it back, counter, removal...let's not get crazy folks. If it had haste then that'd be fuuuuuu bliz
