(If i remember right, on average, 15% of people get addicted to illegal drugs on the first time -harder stuff that marijuana-)
I mean, yeah, it's a drug. It has a potential for addiction. It's nothing like heroin that addicts on single use with serious concequences, but it's an addiction to a drug nonetheless, so of course it's possible.
So is getting addicted to coffee/energy drinks/chocolate (caffeine), sex/porn (dopamine), and jumping off of cliffs (adrenaline). It does happen, and I've known at least one person addicted to any of these things, to a point where it impacted their life severely.
