Roll it art out, so when u unroll it and use it to play it doesn't start to bend upward and your cards slide.  As for storage, my LGS sells playmat tubes for $3.  Just a hollow plastic tube with a cap on the end.  Hopefully you can find one, and hopefully u got a good art :)

Lucky. My lgs overpriced everything by a couple of dollars so their tubes are $5, and the reinforced plastic ones are $10.

Monster (the company that makes Monster Binders) has a playmat tube they sell. It's triangular, so it doesn't roll. Very much recommend it.

Only issue I've had with my monster tube is the bottom cracked. First tube I ordered was received cracked bottom too.   My fix was I hot glued the entire bottom.

I have a large plastic tube that I bought (it was all I could find) so I just roll the playmat up and stick it in my backpack.
