Title: Musicals
Post by: Agrus Kos, Enforcer of Truth on September 04, 2014, 04:23:10 PM
Im watching the Mikado now and my school is going to perform it. Anyone else seen it? It is actually quite funny if you havent seen it, its a Gilbert and Sullivan. I also really like Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Pirates of Penzance, and Into the Woods. Any one else watch musicals?

While I can't say I've ever been very into musicals, I recently learned of Evil Dead: the Musical. I want to see it badly.

It's no longer on broadway, though. Hasn't been for years. If I find an off broadway production though, I'm totally getting tickets. In the splash zone.  Yes, it has a splash zone. You can thank the chainsaw.

I've actually performed in a good number of musicals for both my high school and University! My favorite are "The Drowsy Chaperone" and "The Full Monte"

I did musical theatre in High School because it was in the spring when there was no Marching Band.  In order, they were Urineown, the Wizard of Oz, the Drowsy Chaperone and Hairspray.

I've also seen a ton, though I don't follow them as much as my sisters or roommate.

Joseph and the technicolor dreambcoat was amazing! My favorite would definatley be A Chorus Line that I saw at the Palladium theatre on Piccadilly street. The absolute worst I've seen is Fiddler on the Roof. Sorry if you don't agree but I think it's just awful!
