you live assuming he has no way to protect his badges since it triggers before combat damage.
The 1/1 is declared as an attacker, triggering {Circle of Flame}. {Circle of Flame} resolves, 1/1 badger dies as a state based action, before you even declare blockers.
This is just hypothetical; right? If not, what monstrosity brought all of those badgers into existence? o_e
It is hypothetical. They were 1/1 tokens, bu I figured linking to a 1/1 creature would be better.
