And after I left the standard environment, I was excited to see what commander had to offer for them! Which to my surprise, wasn't much 😭 Damia, Sage of Stone is my general ATM until I can find a lovely zombie one/good one from khans! Any advice/more zombies to add/what to cut would be much appreciated! |

Commander 2014 is gonna have some sick cards. I wish I could remember the names but they're black and blue legendaries.

{Lotleth Troll} there are better cards, doesn't fit tribal.
{Snapcaster Mage} doesn't fit tribal, not many things to use it on.
{Glissa, the Traitor} I'm not seeing very many artifacts to use it with.
{Eternal Witness} doesn't fit tribal, there are better ways to do the same thing.
{Reclamation Sage} I'm not sure why you're rubbing this without bounce effects.
{Prophet of Kruphix} great card, but it's not a zombie.
{Acidic Slime} people really hate this card in Commander. And it's not a zombie.
{Consecrated Sphinx} not a zombie. (But so good!)
{Craterhoof Behemoth} not a zombie. Kinda been done to death.
There's what I'd be looking at for cuts and future cuts.

I'll consider some of these, but I don't plan on running all zombies in this deck, that's why I have non zombies also. I just mainly want the creature base to be zombies, also, lotleth troll is actually a zombie 😉

EDITS:
- {Consecrated Sphinx}
- {Deathrite Shaman}
- {Acidic Slime}
- {Lim-Dûl the Necromancer}
+ {Grave Titan}
+ {Corpse Harvester}
+ {Death Baron}
+ {Lord of the Undead}
I really want to find more room for {Gray Merchant of Asphodel} , {Agent of Erebos} , and {Tombstone Stairwell} but I don't want to loosen up on any more creatures, are there any enchantments/instants/sorcerys/artifacts that seem weak to anyone?
Quote from: Dudecore on August 29, 2014, 09:47:18 PMI don't think there's any creature that does what E-Witt does better, but for sorcerys, {Regrowth} is better
{Maelstrom Pulse} and {Beast Within} are some of the most powerful cards in the format. They can answer just about anything, including Planeswalkers. Also, what card does what {Eternal Witness} does, better? I might consider it for my Roon deck if that thing exists.

That's debatable, but yeah. I thought there was a creature spell that was better then Eternal Witness. I was going to An Hero for forgetting it.
As for some help. I think {Lifebane Zombie} and {Ætherspouts} aren't that great. I think Lifebane's effect is too narrow and only targets 1 player. I think {Cyclonic Rift} is better then spouts, but more boring. Although I will say {Ætherspouts} does have a place in EDH

{Maelstrom Pulse} and {Beast Within} seem weak to me. {Green Sun's Zenith} seems kinda bad too.

Hmm I guess I can deffinetly agree with Lifebane, but as far as spouts goes, I prefer it over {Cyclonic Rift} tbh. I don't like the "overload all my opponents stuff, then proceed to be the target". I believe spouts is a more fair and less hated card within edh. I'll go ahead and place {Gray Merchant of Asphodel} over {Lifebane Zombie}.
Also, don't mean to make you look hard for me, but do you think I have a good enough mana base? I realized when playing that I have dominately double or even triple black spells, I just want to make sure I'm able to hit that when it comes to it :/

I use http://deckstats.net/ for my mana base. I start with the deck raw, and craft my base using http://manabasecrafter.com/
I try for the absolute largest amount of basic lands I can and still fix properly. {Blood Moon} is a thing. It usually ends up being like 10-12 basic lands, but still.
I'll usually look at similar lists to see if I can find anything I hadn't considered before. I added {Novijen, Heart of Progress} to my Roon deck that exploits Persist creatures and sack outlets. It was tech I hadn't considered because that card came out so long ago and I didn't remember it.
