Well, khans won't be legal for long, but after that they will still be legal for a decent amount of time I believe :p

Hooray. We can finally get powerful standard rotations. Besides, I'm not against spending more money to get more cards that are more powerful

I read the ENTIRE article, I didn't just skim it and watch the animations. Rotation happens after every TWO sets, not 1.

Khans will be legal for 18 months...
Next fall when theros rotates out. Khans/duey will be in rotation for 6 more months. It rotates out spring 2016.

Gocougs is right. Rotation everytime a new block comes out, not every set. That being said, two, two set blocks will come out every year, so rotation will happen twice a year.
I watched the animation it looked like we had a total of 3 blocks (6 sets total) legal before a rotation with the new plan.
Which is 1 set shy of standard normal (the missing core) and instead of a bunch of trash it's three different blocks of mechanics
It's up to 6 sets at a time, and as few as 5. We haven't seen this yet, but it may actually decrease the cost of Standard because of so many options, there will be less Goodstuff.dek and more top tier decks. That is if everything goes correctly
