Title: Prophet of Krupix flash cast
Post by: Glaze_uno on August 22, 2014, 04:30:53 PM
Hello everyone, I have {Prophet of Kruphix} on the battlefield as well as some slivers. I enter combat and and flash in  {Battle Sliver} for the +2/0. My opponent responds and uses {Silence the Believers} to exile my prophet. If this all resolves as is, my prophet will die but will the sliver still be casted?

sure. {silence the believers} wont remove any spells from the stack. giving your creature cards flash with prophet doesnt mean that killing/exiling prophet will counter creature spells on the stack.

Yea I thought so too, I had told him that once I flash casted the sliver, it does not go back to check if the prophet is still there in order to resolve, he would have to counter the cast instead.
Thanks for the reply :)

Also, if he kills the prophet, you can flash in something in response to the kill spell.
