When playing two headed giant, do things like prophet of kruphix and whip of Erebos work for you and your teammate?

no. with {whip of erebos} on YOUR creatures will have lifelink and only you can return creatures from your yard with it, not ur teamate. and {prophet of kruphix} wont let ur teammate cast creature cards at instant speed

Basically, you and your teammate don't share control of things. You control yours, they control theirs.

It's kind of like a normal game, except you're not trying to kill one person. Everything they have effects them and not you (unless it's a universal enchantment) and vice versa.

The only things you share are a life total and combat phases. Otherwise slivers would be completely broken in two headed giant.
